Doctrinal Statement
1. Salvation:
Salvation is a free gift (John 3:16/ Ephesians 2:8&9/ Romans 6:23) offered to all men from God, without exception (I Timothy 4:10/ I John 2:2/
II Peter 3: 9). It is necessary for a person to acknowledge his sin guiltiness before Christ, repent of their sin, and recognize their guilt and contrition before Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:10/ Romans 3:23)
2. The Bible:
The Bible is :
a. Written by God: (Psalm 12:6&7/ Prov. 30:5/ II Peter1:21)
b. Inspired by God: (II timothy 3:16/ II Peter 1:21/ Psalm 68:11)
c. Preserved by God: (Psalm 12:7/ Isaiah 59:21/ Matthew 24:35)
d. Guarded by God: (Psalm 12:6/ Psalm 119:140/ Proverbs 30:6/Rev. 22:18&19)
I Believe all of the above to be exclusively true of the Authorized King James Version (not the NKJV). The rest may contain the words of God but are not the Word of God.
3. Baptism:
Baptism concerning today is two-fold: John 3:5
a. Spirit: at the moment of salvation (Acts 2:38/ I Cor. 12:13/ Romans 6:3-6)
b. Water: after salvation (Acts 8: 36&37). It is a type or testimony before the world of what Christ has done on the inside with the Spirit.
4. The Trinity:
Three distinct personalities/ persons that comprise one God (Triune). (Matthew 28:19/ I John 5:7/ Gen. 1: 26)
5. The Church:
The Church of Jesus Christ is made up of all Grace-age believers (Christ to the present). It is overwhelmingly but not exclusively, represented as a visible local assembly. (Matthew 16:18/ Acts 8:1/ Acts 14:23/ Rev.2&3)
6. Eternal Security:
We accept an eternal Saviour who gives eternal life and we are eternally kept by the Blood of Christ. When we are placed in Christ we take on His nature which is eternal. “If we can’t earn it we can’t un-earn it.”
(John 3:16/ Ephesians 4:30)
-God won’t remove us: (Heb:13:5/ John 10:27-29/ John 6:37)
- We can’t remove us: (Ephesians 4:30/ Rom. 8:38-39/ II Timothy 2:13/ Jude 24/ John 10:27-29).
7. The Rapture of the Church:
The Doctrine of the of the Blessed Hope of the Age of Grace, That Christ will return in bodily form to catch away His bride [John 14] [I Thess. 4-13-18] [ I Cor. 15;50-52] [II Peter 3;4] [Luke 21:25-28]
8. Hell:
The real literal burning fire where all will go who have rejected the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. [Luke 16:22-28] [Rev 20:14,15] [Mark 9:43-48]
